We are looking for members of the Friends Committee to help think of, plan and organise fundraising events. Volunteering Opportunities: We are looking for members of the Friends Committee to help think of, plan and organise fundraising events. We are looking for people with enthusiasm and a little spare time to help put on small, medium and possibly eventually large events. No specific qualifications requred, but anyone with networking, marketing, sales and/or PR would be especially welcome. We meet every 6-8 weeks and more often when specific events are being organised. About REACT REACT (Rapid Effective Asstance for Children with potentially Terminal illness Charity no 802440) is a small charity based in Kew but operating nationally. We provide practical help for children with life-limiting illnesses, living at home, particularly those who are financially disadvanted. We provide specialist equipment from wheelchairs, beds, baths, mobility aids to essential every day items like washing machines and tumble dryers. We are unique in our ability to respond to urgent requests – some times within hours – if necessary. This means we can meet a child’s specific requirements at the time it is most needed.
